Vagary Mews Manx Cats

"When Mother Nature saw fit to remove the tail of the Manx, she left, in place of the tail, more cat." --Mary Stewart

Hello, my name is Gale Thomas-Goodman. In 1988 I founded Vagary Mews Manx in northern NJ to raise and show CFA registered Manx cats and protect, preserve and improve the Manx cat breed. In 1998 my cat, CH, GP, NW Vagary Bon Mot, earned CFA's highest honor by becoming a National Winner.

In 2005 GC, GP, NW Vagary Ipso Facto earned a National Winner award while being shown by a 10 year old, Mary Jane Whiting, in only 17 shows during the year long season.  Mary Jane also won her region's award for Junior Showmanship.

In the late fall of 2004 my husband and I moved to the beautiful North Carolina mountains where the cats enjoy their own deck and view of a cow field.

If you are looking for the cat of your dreams, consider a CFA registered Manx cat.

At this time, I have retired from active breeding and showing.
